Organization:
ABSMC-Ashby Campus Position Overview:
Represents administration, directs facility operations, and supervises personnel in all departments when leadership/management staff is not present in the facility. Serves as administrative liaison to all hospital departments, agencies, and physicians and provides functional guidance to all units. Serves as a resources for decision-making concerning patient care services, non-clinical services, staffing and ensures that hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied.

EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required BSN Preferred
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
RN-Registered Nurse of California Required BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Required ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
EXPERIENCE
Previous clinical experience in area of expertise, minimum 3-5 yrs experience in an acute care setting Required. Must have working knowledge of TJC and CMS Standards. Must have knowledge of emergency preparedness and response policies and procedures. Prefer ED or Critical Care background.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of principles and practices of nursing for all inpatient settings, emergency departments, surgical services and ambulatory care settings. Demonstrated knowledge of all regulatory requirements, including the Joint Commission, Department of Health Services, Title 22, CMA, and OSHA. Knowledge of administrative and clinical areas with special emphasis on hospital and nursing standards of patient care. Must be well versed in hospital and medical staff organization and structure; fluent in medical terminology to include diagnostic and operative procedures. Knowledge of policies and procedures required to access Pharmacy and dispense drugs during hours when the Pharmacy is closed. Proven successful experience with physician relations, supervision, personnel management, and management within a complex environment. Conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills in a complex environment are required. act, diplomacy, and ability to work with individuals in all levels of hospital and medical staff organization. Ability to work with confidential information. Leadership and team skills that enable working cooperatively.

Pay Range is $100.35 to $132.45 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
