This is a Full Time position (80 hours per pay period) with a Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5:30PM schedule (occasional weekend hours may be required), located at Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest. Join a winning team supporting the Case Management department at our Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego as an Administrative Coordinator. In this important role, your primary responsibilities will be working with EPIC and CarePort to send referrals on behalf of the Inpatient Care Managers and Social Workers to safely discharge patients, delivering Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to Inpatient Care Managers and Social Workers, completing UKG timecard edits and updating schedules, and answering phones/communicating via email. The ideal candidate will have medical office experience, advanced problem-solving skills, and a pleasant and professional demeanor. Other general Administrative Coordinator duties may include: Providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations. Performing clerical, administrative, and general office duties involving typing, record and file maintenance, document creation, mail distribution and reception. Having in-depth knowledge of the unit's operations, organization, and procedures. Maintaining office files and records in accordance with internal procedures. Receiving and referring visitors and telephone callers. Responding to requests for information. Opening and distributing mail. Providing a full range of administrative data management and coordination of reporting and project duties for the department. Analysis and maintenance of systems and equipment. Maintaining appointment calendars.
