\n\nResponsibilities include:

\n \n\n

• Assign patients on a daily basis to ensure optimum patient care for all units.\n\nDiscusses patient placement needs with each unit that will provide the best possible patient care based on established areas of expertise, scheduled staff and available resources.\n \n\n
• Forecast placement needs for following shifts.\n\nIdentifies patient placement problems or issues, begins intervention, if necessary, then consults with Manager of Patient Care Services and\/or Nursing Supervisor.\n \n\n
• Independently engage and manage pre-transfer screening for all inquiries.

\n\nEnsure compliance with EMTALA guidelines.\n\n

QUALIFICATIONS:

\n\nAll job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.\n\n

EDUCATION\n\nMinimum:

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)\n\n

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)\n\n

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\n\nMinimum:

Current California nursing license in good standing.\n\nYEARS
