Monday-Friday with occasional evenings or weekends for events and organizational needs Position Summary The Administrative Coordinator serves as a key member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta team by providing administrative, operational, and organizational support to ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the House and administrative office. This role supports leadership, staff, volunteers, guest families, donors, and community partners while helping maintain a welcoming, compassionate, and mission-driven environment. The Administrative Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting office management, communication, scheduling, database management, volunteer coordination assistance, donor acknowledgments, and special projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about serving families with critically ill or injured children. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Administrative & Office Support Provide administrative support to the CEO and leadership team Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries Maintain office calendars, meeting schedules, and conference room coordination Manage filing systems, records retention, and office organization Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries Donor & Database Support Assist with donor acknowledgment letters and gift processing Support donor database entry and record maintenance Generate reports and assist with data tracking as needed Support stewardship efforts and donor communications Guest Services Support Welcome guests, donors, vendors, and community partners in a professional and compassionate manner Support House operations staff as needed Assist with maintaining an organized and welcoming front office environment Maintain confidentiality of organizational and guest family information Other Duties Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and organizational activities Support a positive team culture aligned with RMHC values Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered Minimum of 2 years of administrative, nonprofit, hospitality, or office coordination experience preferred Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience with donor databases, CRM systems, or QuickBooks preferred Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality Demonstrated commitment to customer service and compassionate care Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, donors, and families from diverse backgrounds Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds Ability to move throughout the House and office spaces as needed Work Environment This position operates primarily in a professional nonprofit office and hospitality environment serving families with critically ill children. The Administrative Coordinator must maintain a welcoming, flexible, and service-oriented demeanor while supporting daily House operations.
