Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment. This dual-support role will serve as a key liaison between procurement and shop floor production, ensuring smooth communication, timely order processing, and efficient flow of materials and documentation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support:
  • Generate and distribute daily/weekly production orders and job cards.
  • Enter and update work orders in the ERP/MRP system based on production schedules.
  • Ensure all required documentation (e.g., BOMs, routing sheets, quality checklists) is available and complete for production teams.
  • Track production progress and update systems with completion status or deviations.
Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems (physical and digital) related to procurement and production activities.
  • Support internal audits by preparing required documentation and logs.
  • Coordinate interdepartmental communications, ensuring smooth information flow between purchasing, production, and inventory teams.
Assist with reporting and KPI tracking for operations performance.
Procurement Support:
  • Assist with issuing and tracking purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and consumables.
  • Maintain vendor records and support supplier communication for order confirmations, delivery timelines, and discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify procurement or inventory teams of replenishment needs.
  • Prepare and reconcile purchasing documents, invoices, and delivery records.

Experience:
