Brief Description :
The managing operator a role responsible for performing critical administrative and operational tasks to achieve the strategic goals of the Fusion Senior Care Homes. The company goals includes, but is not limited to, providing quality senior care in a compliant setting. The duties of the managing operator are: Intake| MO will serve as the key intake personnel responsible for ensuring a complaint and smooth admission process for new residents. Intake tasks include but are not limited to:  Coordinating with placement personnels and house supervisors to ensure the house is ready for new residents  Receive and receive resident folder for compliance  Ensure that supervisor gets resident set up ECP, set up with meds, update schedules to include resident name and fully acclimated Administrative| MO will serve as the key administrative personnel providing critical administrative tasks for the smooth and compliance operation of the homes. These administrative tasks include but are not limited to:  Recruit and hire staff base on company needs  Coordinator onboarding
  • set up in Uattend and Quickbooks
  • schedule for training with
  • assign shifts
  • collect paperwork
  • run background check
  • upload all onboarding docs into ECP  Support supervisors/operators in creating schedule  Revise edited schedule for accuracy and work with supervisor for any changes  Work with supervisor to manage overtime  Provide general support and supervision to House operator and supervisors for the achievement of house goals.  Rounding-do rounding with doctor, nurse and supervisor monthly 
  • follow up on nurse implementation of orders from rounding  Assessment 
  • Do admission and readmission access along with nurse, supervisor and PRM  Conduct weekly meetings for supervisors and operators  Conduct emergency meeting to deal with special issues  Conduct general staff meeting once every 3 months  Conduct an employee survey 1x every 2months  Coordinate a company employee recognition system  Send out bills to residents or their DPOA monthly  Solve administrative problems•social security•Medicaid•respond to state survey•response to and coordinate with state ombudsmen•respond to DOL  Help improve administrative processes  Develop training for support quality care delivery  Doing reminder and Home wide announcement posts  Perform vital HR duties including creating staff development plan, bi-annual performance review, corrective actions, maintain an exist folder Compliance| MO is the key personnel responsible for the the homes compliance and quality assurance.
 Conduct 2x a month internal survey (audits and inspections)
  • Audit MAR, Temp books, Employment folder, Resident Folders, emergency books
  • Inspect houses for orderly and complaint med cart, expired food, proper food storage, clean and orderly environment, house is in good repair, chemicals storage, care provided according to care plan
  • share internal survey report with CEO and COO.
  • work with supervisors, operators and nurses for a 1-4 day correction.  State Survey
  • Be present for state survey and ready to facilitate a deficiency free survey.
  • Coordinate correction to any issues arising from survey within 5 business days
  • Send correction to state in a timely manner.
Miscellaneous| MO will perform all other administrative and operational tasks, assigned by the executive team, which are necessary for the smooth operation of the homes.
SCOPE:
The scope of the MO responsibility will cover five care homes.
Qualification Education:
Bachelor Degree in management, social work or Health care administration
Experience:
One year managerial experience perferred At least four years of supervisors in direct care field Customer service experience Solution oriented and mission driven leadership traits Attention to details
Requirement:
Obtaining a State of Kansas Home Plus Operator certification (paid for by company) Certified Medication Aide (paid for by company) State required background check for health care workers
Hours:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (exception for when the state surveyor is in the building)
Pay:
Start at $18 with an increase every 90 days based on performance. Pay caps at $23
Bonus:
