This position offers the opportunity to manage permitting and fee collection processes, analyze program data, provide technical assistance to stakeholders, and help ensure compliance with state regulations while supporting essential public health services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION

Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Process Permit to Operate applications, establishment data updates, sales reports, and fee payments for environmental health programs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide technical assistance and guidance to sanitarians, business owners, and financial representatives regarding permitting requirements, regulations, and program processes. Enter, update, and maintain permit, revenue, and assessment data within departmental systems, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of program records. Review and correct permitting, revenue, and sales reporting errors, coordinate with responsible parties, and implement solutions to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. Process payments, reconcile fee collections, monitor financial transactions, and maintain audit-ready records to support program accountability and revenue management. Manage complaints and inquiries by documenting information, coordinating responses, and communicating with program staff and stakeholders as needed. Test system enhancements, identify and report programming issues, maintain inventory and operational records, and support program planning and administrative activities.
