Serves as receptionist and primary point of contact by greeting customers, answering telephone calls, assessing client needs, and providing professional customer service to clients, vendors, agencies, and staff. Maintains knowledge of agency programs, policies, and procedures to assist clients, assess potential eligibility, and ensure appropriate program services are offered. Researches and utilizes systems such as LITE and On Base to gather information, assist clients, and support program operations. Processes new and renewal program applications by accurately entering data, compiling information, and routing applications to appropriate Social Service Analysts in a timely manner. Communicates complex program information, policies, and procedures clearly and effectively while identifying client needs and connecting individuals with available resources. Provides clerical and administrative support by preparing and distributing mail, receiving faxes, making copies, and indexing documents within the On Base imaging system. Maintains disaster response readiness by participating in DSNAP training and supporting emergency operations, including interviewing applicants, registering evacuees, determining eligibility for disaster assistance, and utilizing computer systems to track benefits and shelter populations.Position-Specific Details:
