Louisiana Works is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join the Office of Workers' Compensation. The Office of Workers' Compensation Administration (OWCA) in Louisiana oversees the enforcement and administration of workers' compensation laws, aiming to support early return-to-work efforts and improve workplace safety. The department manages disputed claims, conducts hearings, reviews medical treatment disputes, and investigates fraud through collaborative efforts like the GAME ON task force.

Answer telephones and greet visitors, preparing and having them sign the sign-in sheet, if appropriate Check incoming pleadings for completeness and encode accurately and timely Process subpoenas immediately and place in return mail within 24 hours Open, clock, process and distribute mail and faxes File documents and files after necessary actions have been completed
