Research Administration Coordinator Accounting & Finance Staffing Massachusetts Contract Research Administration Coordinator Our client, a leading institute at the intersection of engineering, science, and medicine, is seeking a dynamic Research Administration Coordinator to join their collaborativemunity. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to support groundbreaking research initiatives by managing diverse administrative and financial activities.
Compensation:
$28.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Develop and approve requisitions, invoices, travel documents, and expense reports, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely. Conduct thorough reviews of personnel charges, monitor account expenditures, and draft financial forecasts to maintain budget integrity. Monitor and manage research accounts from setup to closeout, ensuring adnce to sponsor and institutional policies. Troubleshoot billing discrepancies and work with PIs to realign effort charges, balancing accounts proactively. Prepare, review, and submit grant proposals, including budget development and document collection, ensuringpliance with sponsor guidelines. Handle sensitive information with discretion, maintaining the confidentiality of payroll, salary details, and financial records. Engage with vendors, faculty, and staff to troubleshoot accounting concerns and provide clear explanations of finance procedures. Maintain thorough records and documentation related to accounts and proposals. Contribute to special projects or assignments as directed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial management or research administration. Proven familiarity with financial systems, spreadsheets, and accounting tools. Keen attention to detail andanizational proficiency. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
