Job Title:
Administrative Operations Support Position Summary The Administrative Operations Support position provides administrative and clerical support at Head Start centers and serves as a welcoming first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors. This position supports daily office operations, enrollment and attendance processes, and ensures accurate and confidential recordkeeping. Key Responsibilities Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, scanning, copying, and document management. Greet and assist families, staff, and visitors. Support attendance, enrollment, and recordkeeping processes. Assist with monitoring reviews, audits, licensing visits, and internal assessments. Support family engagement activities and communication. Maintain confidentiality of child and family records in accordance with 45 CFR §1303. Assist with emergency preparedness planning. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or clerical experience required. Strong organizational skills required. Strong technology literacy and experience with computer software required. (i.e., Office 365, Outlook, Sharepoint, Excel spreadsheets, Word (including formatting & mail merge) required. PowerPoint experience a plus. Associate's degree in Business, Office Administration, or related field preferred. One (1) year experience in an office or school setting preferred. Experience in Head Start, early childhood education, or human services Bilingual skills preferred
Schedule:
40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Starting Pay:
