About Kittson Healthcare:
Since 1922, Kittson Healthcare has proudly provided continuous service to the citizens of Kittson County and surrounding areas. Today, we are a 12-bed acute care federally designated Critical Access Hospital and a 50-bed long-term care facility, which also includes a home healthcare agency, an 8-bed assisted living facility, and ambulance services. Our campus includes a medical clinic in Hallock and a satellite clinic in Karlstad, MN. None Job Summary:
The Administrative Coordinator provides high-level organizational and administrative support to leadership, with a focus on board operations, compliance, documentation management, and overall coordination of administrative functions across the organization. This role also serves as a key liaison between internal teams and marketing, helping ensure alignment, communication, and timely support of organizational initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate board and committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, materials distribution, and minute-taking. Maintain official records, bylaws, and governance documents. Support leadership with calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials. Track and follow up on action items. Maintain organized and accessible records, including contracts, agreements, and key organizational documents, ensuring proper version control. Monitor licensure, credentialing, and regulatory requirements; coordinate renewals and maintain accurate compliance records. Assist with grant-related activities by tracking deadlines, organizing documentation, and supporting submissions and reporting. Serve as a liaison to the marketing team by coordinating requests, sharing relevant updates, and helping ensure timely communication of organizational needs and initiatives. Support marketing-related efforts by gathering information, coordinating internal input, and assisting with the development and distribution of internal and external communications.
Job Requirements:

Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively High attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information appropriately Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems Ability to manage competing priorities and interruptions effectively Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Previous administrative or executive support experience preferred Experience with board/meeting coordination, compliance, or healthcare settings preferred Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams or supporting marketing/communications efforts is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to serve as a liaison between departments Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting. Complete TB test within the first 3 weeks of employment.
Work Schedule:
Hallock, MN Monday•Friday 8:00am•4:30pm (hours may vary pending operational needs) Office, Hospital, and Clinic setting
