Job Description

Exculta Health + Wellness is a Missouri nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable and accessible health, wellness, and community resources to veterans, first responders, and their families. Through outreach, advocacy, community partnerships, and trauma-informed programming, Exculta works to strengthen the health and wellness of those who have served our communities and country. Position Summary Exculta Health + Wellness is seeking a compassionate, organized, and mission-driven Administrative Assistant + Outreach Coordinator to support the daily operations and community outreach efforts of our growing nonprofit organization. This hybrid role combines administrative support, community outreach, resource coordination, relationship building, and organizational assistance to help further Exculta's mission of improving access to affordable, accessible, trauma-informed, and culturally competent services for veterans, first responders, and their families throughout West Central Missouri. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, self-motivated, and passionate about serving military, veteran, and first responder communities. Individuals with lived experience or strong cultural competency related to these populations are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Administrative & Operational Suppor t
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, events, and community outreach activities
  • Manage organizational email communication and phone inquiries
  • Assist with data entry, documentation, and maintenance of organizational records
  • Support grant reporting, donor tracking, and program documentation
  • Assist with event planning, logistics, and volunteer coordination
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and organizational information
  • Support office organization and day-to-day nonprofit operations Outreach & Community Engagement
  • Assist with community outreach efforts throughout West Central Missouri
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Help connect veterans, first responders, and families with available community resources
  • Support Exculta programs, wellness initiatives, and outreach events
  • Attend community meetings, networking events, and outreach opportunities as assigned
  • Assist with social media communication, outreach messaging, and community engagement
  • Help maintain and organize regional resource navigation guides for community use Organizational Growth Support
  • Assist with donor stewardship and sponsor communication
  • Support fundraising events and organizational campaigns
  • Help strengthen organizational visibility and community presence
  • Collaborate with leadership on outreach strategies and program development Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in administrative support, nonprofit operations, outreach coordination, healthcare, social services, or community engagement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic technology platforms
  • Reliable transportation for outreach activities and meetings
  • Knowledge of veteran, military, and/or first responder culture strongly preferred
  • Community Health Worker experience or training preferred but not required
  • Lived experience connected to military service, first responders, or behavioral health strongly encouraged Compensation & Schedule
  • Part-Time Position (20-30 hours/week)
  • Flexible scheduling options available
  • Some evening or weekend events may occasionally be required
  • Compensation based on experience and qualification
Pay:
