Job Description

Franciscan Health Mooresville Campus 1201 Hadley Rd Mooresville, Indiana 46158 When a nurse needs to know if a bed is available or a doctor wants to make sure special instructions are followed, they turn to the House Supervisor. Representing hospital administration in your department means you have those answers and more. It means you coordinate activities, supervise staff, monitor admissions, transfers and clinical needs… it means you make sure what's supposed to get done, does.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Part Time Days, Weekends 24 hours per week Responsible for appropriate distribution of patient care resources, to comply with established staffing guidelines. Communicate potentially significant issues on a timely basis, to facilitate continuity of investigation and resolution. (via chain of command) Serve as hospital administrator during tour of duty, to assure consistent direction and leadership of organizational activities. Identify and places all patients, including direct admits and transfers. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize and authorize all bed placements. Conduct daily bed briefing meetings with clinical areas. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree Nursing / Patient Care Required Associates/RN Diploma For those hired on or before 1/1/2019 BSN required within 3 years, any variation has to be approved by the System CNO. Preferred Master's Degree Nursing/Patient Care Nursing/Healthcare Administration/Business Administration or related. 3 years Patient Care/Nursing Required 2 years Charge Nurse or demonstrated leadership skills Required Registered Nurse (RN)
  • State Licensing Board in applicable state Basic Life Support Program (BLS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • American Heart Association
