Reporting to the Director of Faith Relations, the Faith Relations Specialist is a part-time position responsible for providing detailed and strategic support for the Faith Relations department's efforts to mobilize the faith community to partner with us. We inspire congregations to be involved in every aspect of our ministry, including volunteering in construction, advocating for housing policy, referring applicants to our homebuyer program, volunteering and donating items to our ReStores, and funding our mission. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The focus of the Faith Relations Specialist is to provide detailed administrative support for the Faith Relations department and the other departments with which we collaborate. These responsibilities include Project Management of Faith's weekly staff meeting. Provide general administrative support for the 3 annual Faith Build campaigns in which we inspire and equip congregations to put their faith into action. This will require internal, cross-departmental collaboration. Tracking and acknowledging financial gifts from faith partners. Maintain MS Excel directory of congregational contacts and support the transition into a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, called Raiser's Edge. Track Metrics and support faith gift acknowledgement process. Support department's efforts to communicate with congregations (for example: update web page content, regular email communications, social media postings, etc.) Manage catering, RSVP's and desktop publishing for Faith Department's special events. Manage grant applications and reporting. Participate in Faith Build campaign events and assist with speaking at congregational events as needed.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Habitat works in an Interfaith capacity, and the applicant must demonstrate cultural competency in this environment. Strong attention to detail is mandatory. It is essential that the candidate demonstrates fluency in the following technology platforms: Outlook, MS Office 365, and Raiser's Edge. Is it desired that the candidate demonstrate ability in some or all of the following technology platforms: Asana, Canva, Google photo albums, and Volunteer Hub. Demonstrated ability to manage a busy administrative office. Adept at adjusting to a changing environment. Skilled project manager experience is preferred.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated effectiveness in office operations is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required. Experience mobilizing congregations is desirable.GUIDELINES

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment and routinely requires operating standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and fax machines. Occasionally, they work in outside conditions that can include heat, humidity, and high noise levels.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
