Salary/Position Classification $44,000 - $48,000 annual, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) 40 hours per week This position will work onsite in Bismarck, ND Purpose of Position The Front Desk Supervisor oversees daily front desk operations, creates a positive and welcoming environment, and ensures an efficient registration process by effectively leading and supporting the front desk team. Duties & Responsibilities 50% Supervise and support front desk staff during daily operations Oversee patient registration processes Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage Train, onboard, and mentor new employees Monitor performance and provide coaching, feedback, and evaluations 25% Identify workflow issues and implement improvements Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations Develop and update front desk policies and procedures Ensure accuracy and efficiency in data entry and documentation Monitor appointment scheduling, phone calls, and front desk workflows Maintain compliance with organizational procedures and policies Assist with insurance verification and payment processing 25% Ensure a welcoming, professional, and courteous environment Handle escalated customer/patient concerns and resolve complaints promptly Maintain high standards of customer service across the team Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information Required Competencies Ability to demonstrate telephone proficiency/etiquette Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in regard to all information acquired in course of performing the job. Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work closely with faculty and resident physicians. Ability to work with patients and the public in a professional, confidential, and calm fashion. Ability to respond and perform effectively in emergency and stressful situations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience Experience training staff, managing schedules, or overseeing daily operations Successful completion of Criminal History Background Check In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
