Senior Administrative Coordinator-Academic of the Honors College The Honors College at North Dakota State University is a newly formed College that will admit 30 exceptional students each year, supporting 120 students when fully established. The Coordinator will provide advanced professional assistance for the Executive Director and Honors College staff, including the Assistant Director and Recruiter. Duties include:
Serving as the primary contact for the Executive Director
Managing confidential executive communications, calendars, and documentation with high discretion, and other activities as assigned
Representing the Honors College to external stakeholders
Providing administrative support for the Executive Director that includes managing the Executive Director's calendar, scheduling and organizing meetings, and making necessary arrangements for meetings and telephone coverage
Schedule, attend, and facilitate and Honors College meetings with internal staff and external stakeholders
Manage projects and tasks for Honors College staff and collaborators
Assist in scheduling, coordinating, and executing events in the Honors College
Other duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week (Monday - Friday) Hiring Range:
$45,000-$60,000 DOE
Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations. Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years of experience in an administrative role
Knowledge of and experience with standard office equipment Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel Exceptional oral, written, and organizational skills Effective interpersonal communication skills, demonstrated by past success in a collaborative professional environment Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with a diverse community in a respectful manner Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in an administrative role
Experience working in an office setting as an administrative assistant Experience with PeopleSoft software Experience with Campus Connection software Employment experience in a higher education setting
Ability to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting (up to 25 lbs. unassisted), bending, climbing, or standing for extended periods of time Applicant Materials Required:
