: The Nashua Technology Center (NTC) is seeking a dynamic Advanced Manufacturing Teacher to develop and deliver an engaging Career and Technical Education (CTE) program focused on advanced manufacturing with an emphasis on machining, fabrication, and welding.We value career-change candidates with well-developed industry technical skills, a team-focused approach, and, if possible, experience training employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Manages central computer system processing student enrollment and free/reduced application data. Enters and processes free and reduced-price meal applications for all schools. Prepares and sends all required free and reduced correspondence. Responsible for downloading Direct Certification lists from the states monthly. Verifies free and reduced lunch applications using USDA guidelines. Follows through with all required documentation. Follows up on past due accounts weekly and sends bills. Ensures the financial integrity of district-wide collections and payment systems. Monthly deposit reconciliations for all schools. Manage upgrades for district-wide point-of-sale computer system. Investigate delinquent accounts, inform Food Service Director and school Principal as needed to arrange payment plan or change status. Updates pricing on all point-of-sale computers as needed. Debit accounts for returned fees. Communicate with schools to block check cashing privileges. Notify parents of checks returned for insufficient funds. Handle collections and monitor accounts weekly. Checks weekly participation records and resolves discrepancies. Compiles financial and participation information for monthly reports. Processes billing for Clearway Alternative School participation. Submit monthly food service claims to the NH Department of Education for Federal School Lunch program (School year and Summer School Claim) Maintains point-of-sale computers and equipment at each school and recommends upgrades. Performs start-up and year-end procedures for POS. Assembles necessary data for city auditors and state reviews. Research free and reduced information for district programs and state forms. Confidentially distributes necessary free/reduced data information required for district's testing. Maintains POS equipment inventories. Prepares monthly school USDA compliance reports. Works on special projects, as needed. Performs other duties pertaining to food services, as necessary. Travel to school to replace registers and POS equipment, as needed. Verifies transportation eligibility for high school students (once a year) and work closely with athletics to verify eligibility to exempt the student from pay to play.QUALIFICATIONS
: High School Diploma or GED/equivalent required. Proficiency in Excel, Word, required. 13+ years in food service, hospitality, or administrative roles preferred. Knowledge of local, state and federal statutes pertaining to school lunch/breakfast requirements. Awareness of health department regulations. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Basic knowledge of inventory control and ordering supplies. Must be physically capable of performing duties, which include the ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods of time. Lift and carry objects weighing a minimum of fifty (50) pounds, and the ability to work with a variety of food and cleaning related products.
