What We're Looking For We're seeking a Prevention Director who brings strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to best practice prevention education. This role provides direct supervision to all Prevention Educators, Prevention Coordinator, a Rural Prevention Coordinator, holds day-to-day accountability for staff performance and serves as a key link between individual and community level prevention work and agency leadership. As a Prevention Director, this leader provides oversight of prevention programming and direct supervision of educators and coordinators through regular, structured supervision. The Prevention Director ensures programming is delivered consistently and in alignment with trauma-informed practices and agency standards. Through ongoing communication, coaching, performance feedback, and schedule coordination, this role strengthens staff accountability, supports educator effectiveness, and helps maintain best practice prevention programs across school based and various community settings. What you will Be Responsible For Programming Leadership Provide direct supervision to Prevention Educators, Prevention Coordinator and Rural Prevention Coordinator, including weekly individual and team supervision, coaching, and performance support Oversees program scheduling for school-based, community, and outreach prevention programming, ensuring appropriate staffing and coverage Ensures staff onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development to promote consistent, best practice, trauma-informed program delivery Oversee day-to-day program operations, including preparation of materials, logistics, and coordination with community partners Supervise implementation of prevention curriculum and support continuous improvement based on staff feedback, community needs, and best practices in gender-based violence prevention Support collaborative relationships with schools, community organizations, and internal teams to support effective prevention efforts Ensure staff compliance with agency mission, vision, and strategic goals, as well as established policies, procedures, and ongoing operational improvements Oversee the collection of data regarding services provided to be used for agency program statistics, client satisfaction and outcome measurements and to ensure quality services and report appropriate outcomes to funders. Participates in various local and state coalition and local collaborative meetings to enhance agency and partner resource sharing and increased access points to WHW programs. Responsibility for annual program budget creation and compliance. Reviews prevention program curricula annually to assure alignment with best practices. About You Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in social work, public health, education, psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 3-5 years of experience in prevention, education, youth services, or community-based programming At least 3 years of supervisory and leadership experience relevant to youth and community programming Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, violence prevention, and youth development Preferred Qualifications Experience working in domestic violence, sexual violence, or related prevention fields Experience with school-based prevention programs

Attention to detail in maintaining accurate documentation and program records
Stress Management:
The ability to manage stress, maintain professionalism, and model self-care in demanding work environment
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
To facilitate agency effectiveness, maybe expected to take on other duties assigned. Availability of transportation to provide service in the community is required.
