House Supervisor Bethany Children's Health Center - 4.6 Bethany, OK Job Details 8 hours ago Benefits Tuition reimbursement Qualifications Staff supervision RN License PALS Certification English Patient care Full Job Description Job Purpose The Nursing House Supervisor serves as the on-site administrative representative during all-hours and is responsible for the coordination and oversight of clinical operations across all inpatient units. This role provides leadership support to unit supervisors, ensures appropriate staffing coverage, and facilitates effective communication between departments to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. The House Supervisor plays a key role in crisis management, resource allocation, and maintaining hospital-wide standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duty Percent of Time Provide administrative oversight and support to unit supervisors and clinical teams throughout the hospital. Monitor and manage staffing levels in collaboration with unit leadership, ensuring safe and efficient coverage. Act as a liaison between nursing units, medical staff, and ancillary departments to resolve operational and patient care issues. 40% Serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours decision-making, including emergency responses, patient placement, and conflict resolution. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practice guidelines. Escalate critical incidents or deviations to appropriate leaders and participate in incident debriefing and reporting. 35% Conduct patient rounds, support patient/family concerns, and help ensure service excellence. Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to optimize patient flow and bed utilization. Participate in leadership meetings, performance improvement initiatives, and policy development as requested. 20% Other duties as assigned 5%

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English required.

Experience:

3+years as RN Staff and 2+years supervisory experience required.

License/Certification/Credential:
