The Philadelphia Tribune Media Group is an award-winning, multi-media company and the nation's oldest, continuously published African American newspaper. The company also publishes print and digital versions of the Philadelphia Tribune, various community focused supplements and as well as producing events of interest that impact the African American community.
Job Summary:
We have a unique opportunity for a highly organized, detailed oriented administrative secretary that will report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer. This individual will perform high-level secretarial and administrative support of a confidential nature including formatting reports and maintaining databases. You will be representing a newspaper with an unprecedented legacy within the region's African-American community and also played a significant role in some of the most pivotal events within the last 100 years in African and American history.
Job Requirement:
Performs secretarial and administrative assignments of a confidential nature Composes correspondence for internal and external communications Routine typing, editing, formatting reports and documents Performs mail merges using Excel spreadsheets Filing documents, as well as entering data and maintaining databases Observe the best business practices and etiquette Dress in business attire
Desired Qualifications:
