Energy Director Job Summary :
The Energy Sovereignty Coordinator supports the implementation of community-driven energy initiatives on Molokai, working closely with the Energy Director, Sustʻāinable Molokai, and the Molokai Clean Energy Hui to advance the island's Energy Resilience Action Plan (CERAP). This role combines strong coordination and administrative skills with meaningful community engagement, including co-facilitating meetings and supporting outreach. The position is highly collaborative, requiring the ability to navigate multiple partners and reporting structures while centering Molokai voices. It also supports energy efficiency efforts, including the Hui Up! program, and involves learning and growing within energy and regulatory spaces to help expand sustainable solutions for the community.

‍ Strong connection to the Molokaʻi community and demonstration of cultural values Commitment to ʻĀina Momona Demonstrated experience and interest in community outreach, engagement, and networking Strong organizational and project coordination skills Excellent communication (written + verbal) Proficiency in Google Workspace and Zoom Flexible and agile in dynamic environments Ability to work independently and collaboratively Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends Driver's License required
