This full-time position serves as a critical resource across Accounts Payable, Procurement Card administration, Human Resources support, Payroll, Travel coordination, and Property management. You'll process invoices, support employee recruitments, assist travelers, and maintain campus property records, all while ensuringpliance with University policies and regulations. To thrive in this role, the successful applicant will be organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple processes while maintaining high accuracy. This position mustmunicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of students, faculty, and staff, and must befortable navigating University policies and systems. Experience with administrative, financial, or HR-related tasks will help you succeed, but just as important is your ability to learn quickly, solve problems, and take initiative. A strong sense of accountability and amitment to supporting others will make you an invaluable member of our team.
Minimum Qualifications:
One year of college coursework in Accounting or a related field and two years of relevant experience, or an equivalentbination of training and experience.
Position Details:
This position is located at the Matanuska-Susitna College. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff positionplete with both apetitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generouspensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 77, based on education and experience. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until a successful candidate is identified.
