PRIMARY FUNCTION
: Point Park University's School of Education is seeking a highly organized and collaborative professional to serve as the Undergraduate Programs Administrative Coordinator. This role is essential to the successful operation of all of our undergraduate programs, including the BA in Special Education and BA in PreK-4 Residency Programs. The Undergraduate Programs Administrative Coordinator supports student enrollment, onboarding, and progress tracking while serving as a key liaison among students, faculty, University offices, and partnering schools. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless student experience from admission through program completion. This is a hybrid position, combining in-person and remote work. While standard business hours apply, occasional evening and weekend responsibilities and local travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Experience in higher education or administrative support roles strongly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, and standard office software Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners Responsibilities Support student application intake, admissions workflows, and course registration for residency and online undergraduate students Serve as liaison with Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Registrar to ensure accurate records, enrollment continuity, and timely transfer credit evaluation Coordinate onboarding and orientation; provide guidance on program expectations Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of student progress, coursework, and field/student teaching requirements; monitor performance and support student success Communicate with partnering schools and residency supervisors; collect feedback on student performance Assist with course scheduling and provide administrative support to faculty, including adjuncts Maintain program documentation and ensure compliance with accreditation (PDE) and University requirements Support planning and execution of program events and recruitment activities Compile and analyze data related to enrollment, retention, and program outcomes; generate reports for program evaluation Draft and distribute communications and maintain stakeholder communication systems Why Join the School of Education at Point Park University?
