Full Job Description Purpose:
The Administrative Support Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support within a healthcare setting. This role serves as a key point of coordination for daily operational functions, ensuring efficient workflows, accurate documentation / reporting, and a high level of service for clients, providers, and external stakeholders. Administrative & Office Support Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and internal communications Maintain organized electronic filing systems in accordance with retention and compliance requirements Healthcare Operations Support Assist with patient-facing administrative tasks such as scheduling, referrals, documentation, and follow-ups as appropriate Coordinate with clinical teams and external partners to support continuity of care Data, Reporting & Compliance Enter, audit, and maintain data in electronic health record (EHR) systems Track metrics, generate routine reports, and assist leadership with data requests Communication & Coordination Serve as a liaison between internal departments, leadership, and external contacts Respond to inquiries professionally and route issues appropriately Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of administrative support experience in a healthcare or clinical environment Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new systems Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Strong time management and prioritization abilities Customer-service oriented with a patient-centered mindset Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, or related field Experience with EHR systems or Sales Force Knowledge of behavioral health, health care terminology, Medicaid managed care Knowledge of Florida Medicaid and/or work in the community mental health setting. Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
