GENERAL SUMMARY
This role will coordinate administrative functions and write content for the company's public relations, brand, special events and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, ensuring alignment with organizational values and business goals. The individual contract role serves in a proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented manner while interacting and posting content with key stakeholders, news media and social media outlets, community partners, and other Lendmark stakeholders as assigned. The role requires the ability to effectively write content, consistently administer project management duties and possesses communication skills to effectively collaborate and support members of the Corporate Communications department and other Lendmark teams. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Consistently update, monitor and pull reports on the fundraising website regularly, working alongside CURE Childhood Cancer to track campaign results. Track campaign funding contributions and work with various Lendmark departments to ensure accuracy in reporting and metrics Support the Lendmark Corporate Communications team across a variety of Climb to Cure campaign activities and ad-hoc tasks, including conducting research. Write content for CSR activities, the Climb to Cure campaign, including mission highlights and campaign stories that will educate and inform audiences. Use Canva to help produce campaign graphics and materials. Special Events Help plan and implement aspects of the Climb to Cure Celebration event. Capture and track all special events timelines and activities, logistics, and vendor invoices for conference budgets. Update and monitor Microsoft teams planners, incorporating activities associated with various workstreams. Coordinate post-event surveys and form analytics report outlining KPIs and opportunities. Help prepare meeting materials, agendas, notes, and schedule in-person and online meetings for project teams. Order, maintain and distribute inventory and promotional supplies and branded materials. External Communications Ensure all work/copy/content written is top quality, proofread, and error-free. Read and monitor Cision (media monitoring service) every day and track and tag news media coverage, elevating critical news to Sr. Manager when appropriate. Research and develop press lists in Cision Format and distribute press clips via Weekly News Report to senior leaders. Format and send press materials through GlobeNewswire platform and track analytics. Perform copyediting of content developed. Project Management Maintain calendars, schedule meetings to meet deadlines. Conduct notetaking as requested during meetings Coordinate photography, maintain brand library and fulfill image requests. Coordinate the planner, digital and physical file storage and organization in OneDrive and Microsoft teams Help monitor and route incoming phone calls and emails to the general Communications, Climb to Cure and Leadership Conference department phone line and email boxes routing and responding to inquiries
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential Must be reliable, flexible, forward-thinking, and able to meet multiple daily deadlines Possess exceptional time management skills and good judgment in handling confidential material Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Acrobat, Photoshop, and PowerPoint Familiarity with FileMaker Pro, Cision, Muckrack, Mailchimp, coveragebook.com, is desirable Proficiency or willingness to gain proficiency in media and content management software
PREFERRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
1 - 2 years of communications or marketing experience in a non-profit, public or private company. High school diploma/GED or Associated degree; Bachelor's degree preferred
NATURE AND SCOPE
Hybrid Eligible - This position is based at the Lawrenceville, Georgia corporate office and incorporates a flexible work schedule with a mix of onsite and remote work.
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
