This position ensures the administrative transaction team follows established procedures, protocols, and operates at the highest level. The Legal Support Coordinator works collaboratively with team members to improve efficiency and deliver high quality service to attorneys and other legal team members. In addition to supervisory responsibilities this position also provides administrative support to assigned attorneys. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality of client and firm matters are essential. Legal Administrative Supervisor Responsibilities Supervisory Coordinate the daily workflow for transactional legal administrative assistants, including monitoring the Attorney Support Portal to ensure work is assigned and completed timely and efficiently. Review administrative processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations. Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation. Monitor and coordinate resource materials in Teams to provide the most up-to-date information for the administrative team. Conduct effective performance evaluations; share knowledge, mentor and provide guidance to team members. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members. Maintain employees' timecards, time off requests, and remote work requests. Legal Administrative Assistant Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents and general correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. Extensive editing, proofreading, and redlining of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings. Coordinate, assemble, and organize closing materials, including closing binders. Draft standard correspondence and format documents. Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements. Enter time entries for attorneys accurately and efficiently into the firm's timekeeping system. Maintain paper and electronic client and administrative files in accordance with firm procedures and the document management system. Legal Administrative Supervisor Requirements High School diploma required. Minimum 5 years of corporate/transactional legal administrative assistant experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Working knowledge of legal documents, formatting, table of contents, styles, and track changes. Ability to manage workflow and delegate assignments and projects. Ability to train, coach, and provide constructive feedback. Excellent organizational, time management and follow up skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple, competing deadlines and priorities in an effective manner. Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
