Non-Profit Senior Administrative Coordinator Location Sacramento, CA 95691 Date Posted April 02, 2026 Job ID 14403 Employment Type Direct Hire Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Non-Profit Senior Administrative Coordinator for a mission-driven nonprofit education association. This is a hybrid role based in Sacramento, CA, with a minimum of three days onsite and two days remote.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Non-Profit Senior Administrative Coordinator provides high-level administrative and operational support to executive leadership, board members, and internal teams. This role requires strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. The position plays a key role in supporting governance functions, coordinating meetings, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive administrative support to executive leadership, board members, and committees, ensuring efficient daily operations Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and materials, take minutes, and manage follow-up on action items Manage calendars, travel arrangements, and logistics for leadership and board activities Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and official documents Maintain accurate records, databases, and reports while supporting tracking and audit processes Coordinate event and meeting logistics, including scheduling, vendors, A/V setup, and onsite support
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong administrative support experience in a nonprofit, education, or similar mission-driven environment Demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, events, and executive-level logistics with attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting professional correspondence Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced setting
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
