Job Description
Description We are looking for an Administrative/Front Desk Coordinator to support daily operations for a faith-based organization. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who brings strong administrative judgment, excellent organization, and a service-oriented approach to coordinating facilities, events, records, and office support. The person in this role will help keep communication, scheduling, and site operations running smoothly while working closely with staff, volunteers, and outside partners. |
PART TIME, 12PM - 5PM, 77007.
Responsibilities:
Manage facility use calendar and coordinate resources, including parking Maintain membership database and process membership changes and transfer letters Conduct weekly cemetery walk-throughs and coordinate burials and grounds maintenance Arrange experienced grave flag placements for major holidays Enter weekly event attendance data Oversee security, surveillance systems, access controls, and building permits Process mail and deliveries; manage office, vending, and supply inventory Maintain facility, kitchen, equipment, and shared space inventories Coordinate volunteers for seasonal church decorations Support and coordinate non-worship events, including concerts, weddings, and funerals Collaborate with Hospitality MAT on special events Prepare worship materials for tech and music teams Coordinate annual food drive and assist with staff meeting logistics Provide administrative support and perform other duties as assigned Requirements- Prior experience in administrative support, office coordination, or a similar operations-focused role.
- Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills with the ability to maintain accurate databases and documentation.
- Comfortable handling reception-style duties, deliveries, and inbound communications with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple schedules, event details, and facility-related tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, service providers, volunteers, or cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency with standard office technology and systems used for calendars, access tracking, and administrative support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a dependable, service-minded approach.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing needs, and handle confidential information responsibly.
