Job Description

Under general direction, supervises civilian support staff and oversees administrative support functions within the Police Department. Responsible for evidence and property management, records support, Spillman system administration, crime lab coordination, vehicle and property auctions, fleet administrative functions, and other departmental support services. Ensures compliance with departmental policies, state and federal regulations, and accepted evidence handling standards.
Essential Duties Include:
Supervise and lead Police Department support staff. Oversee evidence and property management operations. Serve as the Spillman System Administrator. Coordinate records management functions and administrative support services. Manage fleet records and departmental administrative programs. Coordinate crime laboratory submissions and property disposition. Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Assist with special projects and other departmental support functions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or lead-worker experience within a police organization. Valid Texas Driver's License.
