Overview We are a youth residential treatment center dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for adolescents. Our mission is to help youth achieve emotional, behavioral, educational, and personal growth while preparing them for success in their homes, schools, and communities. Position Summary The Administrative Coordinator serves as the primary administrative support professional for the residential treatment center. This position combines educational liaison duties, administrative support, and activity coordination to ensure youth receive comprehensive support in their educational, therapeutic, and recreational programming. The ideal candidate is highly organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to effectively communicate with youth, families, school personnel, case managers, and treatment team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Educational Liaison Responsibilities Coordinate communication between schools, educational providers, treatment staff, and families. Monitor and maintain educational records and documentation. Assist with enrollment, transfers, attendance tracking, and educational planning. Schedule and participate in educational meetings as needed. Support youth in maintaining academic progress and educational goals. Ensure compliance with educational requirements and documentation standards. Administrative Responsibilities Provide administrative support to program leadership and treatment teams. Maintain confidential client files and records. Prepare reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and other documentation. Manage office supplies, calendars, scheduling, and filing systems. Assist with audits, licensing documentation, and accreditation requirements. Answer phones, greet visitors, and maintain professional communication with stakeholders. Activity Coordination Responsibilities Plan, organize, and coordinate recreational, educational, and community-based activities for residents. Develop monthly activity calendars that support therapeutic goals. Coordinate transportation, reservations, and supplies for activities. Encourage youth participation and engagement in programming. Maintain activity records and documentation. Ensure activities comply with agency policies and safety requirements. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum of two (2) years of administrative, educational, youth services, or related experience. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience working with youth in residential treatment, behavioral health, education, foster care, juvenile justice, or social services. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and youth development principles. Experience coordinating events, activities, or educational programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to build positive relationships with youth and professionals. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
