Job Description
Maintains a working knowledge of resources and services available to the communities served to assist and support victims/survivors of domestic, dating, and sexual violence. Answer calls on the 24-hour hotline and TTY machine providing trauma-informed crisis intervention, information and referral, and supportive counseling as needed. Assist with creating and maintaining grant binders as needed. Assist with grant purchasing when necessary. Facilitate initial contact and screening for walk-ins, appointments, shelter residents, and/or hotline callers and provide triage and crisis intervention as needed. Complete intake forms, exit forms, risk assessments, safety plans, and related paperwork including surveys . and evaluations as required or requested by the agency and by confidentiality policies for residential victims/survivors as needed. Serve as a receptionist by answering the phone, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and retrieving and distributing mail. Proficient in Quickbooks and maintain all bookkeeping and check preparation, including payroll and taxes according to grant standards. Writes and edits documents such as instructional documents, memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence. Obtain all receipts for credit card purchases. Provide support to the Executive Director in preparation of board materials, and other publication needs. Maintain office inventory, order supplies as necessary within budget allowance, and maintain the supply of all forms in the office. Attend and participate in scheduled supervision meetings with the Executive Director as per supervision policy. Attend and participate in scheduled staff and team meetings as required. Participate in rotating on-call coverage by agency policy as needed. Mail DOW (grant-related) surveys and log numbers sent. Complete background checks for Board of Directors and Employees. Complete On-Boarding paperwork and training for new employees.
