Job Description

Candidates must have the following: Must be 25 years old or older. Must be self-motivated and able to manage extra tasks. Must be comfortable working with internet-based software and the Microsoft Office suite. Must have dependable transportation. Must be dependable, flexible, and be available to work Afternoon to evening and several Saturdays if needed. Must be professional, have a polished appearance, and a great attitude. Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills. Responsibilities Greeting parents and dancers. Answer and direct phone calls Organize and schedule events Plan meetings and take detailed minutes Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, and forms Develop and maintain a filing system Update and maintain studio policies and procedures Order office and studio supplies Maintain contact lists Book travel arrangements for studio competitions Submit and reconcile expense reports Taking payments for tuition and dancewear. Assist and answer questions about registration. Give prospective new parents/dancers tours. Send emails and respond accordingly. Light cleaning and keeping the studio tidy and organized. Contacting customers with past due accounts. Skills Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Bachelors degree preferred; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
