- Make outbound collection calls to past due customers to collect payments and discuss account activity.
- Maintain and notate all appropriate information and documentation on customers account status.
- Work with third party collections agencies.
- Meet bi-weekly and month-end deadlines.
- Work with internal departments to resolve payment or accounting issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of collection experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
- Excellent customer service and phone skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to change.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Associate degree or vocational school training preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of collections experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
