In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a key part in managing and optimizing credit and collections processes for commercial and consumer accounts. Responsibilities:

Handle commercial and consumer account collections with accuracy and professionalism. Monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely follow-ups to secure payments. Develop effective strategies to minimize overdue accounts and improve cash flow. Perform detailed account reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless billing and credit processes. Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data and create reports related to collections. Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all collection activities. Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues while maintaining positive relationships. Participate in the development and implementation of improved collection processes. Ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date for all credit and collection activities. Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections. Strong knowledge of credit and billing collection processes. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements related to collections. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Previous experience working in the environmental industry is a plus.
