Period. About Rise48 Equity Rise48 Equity is a fast-growing multifamily private equity firm that owns and operates nearly 12,000 apartment units across Phoenix, Dallas-Fort Worth, and the Carolinas. We're building an in-house team to recover unpaid rent across our portfolio — and we're looking for a driven Collections Specialist who wants their paycheck to reflect their results. The opportunity You'll spend your day on the phone from our North Scottsdale office, working accounts with overdue balances — current residents, past residents, and former tenants who've moved on. Your job is simple to describe and hard to do well: connect with people, negotiate workable solutions, and collect as much rent as possible. Every dollar you bring in puts money in your pocket through uncapped commission. If you're competitive, persuasive, and motivated by a scoreboard, this is the kind of role where your effort directly controls your income. What you'll do Make a high volume of outbound calls each day to residents and former tenants with past-due balances across our Phoenix, Dallas, and North Carolina communities. Negotiate payments, payment plans, and settlements that recover the maximum amount of rent owed. Build quick rapport, handle objections, and turn difficult conversations into resolutions. Document every interaction accurately and keep account notes and ledgers up to date. Hit and exceed monthly collection targets — and watch your commission grow as you do. Conduct every call professionally, respectfully, and in line with company policy and applicable collection laws. What you bring A relentless, goal-driven mindset — you love hitting targets and you're motivated by money.
Excellent phone presence:
confident, persuasive, calm under pressure, and a great listener. Strong negotiation skills and the resilience to keep dialing after a tough call. Solid organization and comfort working in collections, CRM, or property-management software. Prior collections, debt-recovery, inside sales, or high-volume call experience is preferred — but we'll seriously consider hungry, high-drive candidates who can sell themselves. Bonus points Bilingual (English/Spanish) — strongly preferred given our resident base. Experience in multifamily, property management, or apartment collections. A track record of being a top performer on a commission or quota-based team. Compensation & benefits $55,000•60,000 base + uncapped commission on collections. Realistic total earnings of $100,000•150,000+ for strong performers, with absolutely no cap — top closers can earn well beyond.
