In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of sub prime auto accounts, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding balances while maintaining positive customer relationships. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Maintain positive customer relationships while ensuring customer and company success. Review account histories, payment patterns, and financial information to assess borrower circumstances and determine appropriate collection strategies and solutions. Maintain detailed records of all collection activities, including communication logs, payment arrangements, and account status updates. Qualifications Must have a minimum of 3 years experience collecting and servicing sub prime auto receivables. Bilingual English / Spanish required. Strong understanding of Megasys Omega is a preferred. Excellent phone etiquette combined with customer service skills to handle sensitive conversations professionally. Have a working knowledge of the impound and lien laws, insurance requirements and claims as well familiarity with repossession and reinstatement functions. Advanced ability to skip trace and locate delinquent borrowers and vehicles. Must be organized, self motivated and function independently as well as part of the team. Must possess a deep understanding of FDCPA and general compliance issues.
