Job Description

Job Summary Base Salary + Uncapped Commission (Average earner makes $85k+) We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Debt Settlement Specialists to join our financial services team. In this role, you will manage and negotiate debt resolutions with clients, particularly in the collections and accounts receivable sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and a minimum of 3 years experience in collections. Your primary goal will be to help clients resolve outstanding debts efficiently while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from clients ( no cold calling) to discuss outstanding debts and negotiate settlement agreements Review and analyze accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliation data Utilize financial software and accounting tools to track payments, adjustments, and account statuses Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues requiring resolution Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records Maintain detailed documentation of all client interactions, negotiations, and agreements Collaborate with internal teams on revenue cycle management processes to optimize collections Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards during all client interactions Skills Must have a minimum of 3 years collection experience Strong understanding of FDCPA collection processes Proficiency in financial concepts such as debits & credits, account analysis, and account reconciliation Experience with accounting software and financial software tools used in debt management Excellent phone etiquette combined with superior customer service skills Effective negotiation skills to reach mutually agreeable settlement terms Familiarity with telemarketing techniques for outreach efforts Ability to interpret financial data accurately and perform basic math calculations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to ethical practices, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of the relevant technical skills outlined above. Candidates should also be highly self motivated and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
