• Full-time In this position you will be responsible to:
• Contacts borrower(s) to encourage payment on delinquent accounts.
• Confers with borrower(s) by phone, written correspondence or in person in attempt to determine reason(s) for overdue payment. Reviews, recommends or accepts terms of repayments. Offer CU services to assist in obtaining positive results.
• Records information regarding status of collection efforts as communication and collection efforts are occurring.
• Responsible for timely collections of assigned accounts.
• Reviews delinquent accounts for trends in products, processes or loan personnel.
• Working closely with other CU departments resolves the debt of deceased members taking into consideration the state statutes for estate or probate filings.
• .

• Responsible for the collection of returned items including returned checks (with the exception of fraud) and ACH items
• Produce documentation in response to Subpoenas
• Responsible for investigating and responding to credit reporting inquiries and disputes The most qualified candidate will have the ability to multitask and have great organizational skills.

You must have the ability to have difficult conversations and strong decision making skills.
