Senior Credit & Collections Analyst Location:
Melbourne, FL Category:

Accounting Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit & Collections Analyst to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing high-volume accounts receivable collections, evaluating customer creditworthiness, and supporting financial reporting. The position requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to resolving payment issues, and the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage collections for assigned high-volume customer accounts. Investigate and resolve customer disputes, including warranty-related issues. Review customer payment history and account status to make credit decisions in line with company policy. Prepare and present monthly A/R reports to management. Process paperwork and obtain approvals for customer refunds of credit balances. Serve as a back-up to the Credit Manager as needed. Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to address discrepancies and reconcile accounts. Maintain participation in industry credit groups and complete regular reporting requirements. Support other credit and collections activities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience). At least 5 years of experience in credit, collections, or an accounting environment. Proficiency with automated A/R systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and organized.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the aviation or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business applications.
Working Conditions:
Office-based environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Annual salary range: $60k-75k, with eligibility for overtime. Final compensation will be based on experience, education, and other job-related factors.
