Job Description

️ Collections Specialist (Collections Representative) Pasco West, FL $20.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Waste Connections is looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team supporting Tampa Hauling (6410) and Tampa Materials Transfer (6411) . This position will be based out of our Pasco West location and will report directly to site leadership. ✅
What You'll Do:
Manage customer accounts and follow up on past-due balances Make outbound calls and send communications regarding collections Work closely with customers to resolve billing issues and payment plans Maintain accurate documentation of account activity Collaborate with internal teams to ensure account accuracy Provide professional, customer-focused service in all interactions ✅
What We're Looking For:
Previous collections, accounts receivable, or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to handle difficult conversations while maintaining professionalism Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Basic computer skills (Excel, internal systems, etc.) Reliable and team-oriented mindset ✅
