POSITION SUMMARY
As the Loan Servicing Collections Specialist the responsibilities include general loan servicing functions with an emphasis on the collections area. The collections area duties include collection calls for past due accounts. Responsibilities also include searching for delinquent customers, sending demand letters, daily OOPS processing and reporting, payment processing, incoming loan servicing collection customer calls, and other general functions of Loan Servicing as assigned if needed. Responsible for all BSA related functions.POSITION SUMMARY
As the Loan Servicing Collections Specialist the responsibilities include various tasks related to collections of loans for the bank along with general loan servicing functions . The collections area duties include collection calls for past due accounts. Responsibilities also include searching for delinquent customers, sending demand letters, daily OOPS processing and reporting, payment processing, incoming loan servicing collection customer calls, and other general functions of Loan Servicing as assigned if needed. Responsible for all BSA related functions.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) 2+ years' experience in a collection related field preferredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES
Making collection calls to past due customers Handling in-bound Loan Servicing collection calls Assist branches with collection questions and requests Collection Account Maintenance Locating and notifying customers of delinquent accounts by mail and email when applicable Keep records of collection and status on accounts Property inspections and door knocks Assist with handling of bankruptcy filings for both chapter 7 reaffirmations and chapter 13 claims Processing bankruptcy payments Payment processing for Hardest Hit, as directed Assist with the handling and tracking of repossession and foreclosure processes Assist with the processing all bills due for repossessed vehicles and legal fees due on collection loans Assist with processing Charges Offs Assist with processing Borrower Response Packet for Fannie Mae and SMDU for loss mitigation Assist with processing Fannie Mae Repayment Plan and Modifications Demand Notice generation and mailings Delinquency Notice generation and mailings File and document scanning for collections Processing and report OOPS for negative checking accounts Handling Fresh Start loan qualifications & document creation Follow up on non-escrowed delinquent tax accounts Back-up for HOI Cancellation tracking and force placement Log return mail and forward when forwarding address is available Performs other servicing functions as assigned if neededKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

: Work is performed in a professional office environment. Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, scanners, printers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Sitting for long periods of time; May be required to lift items weighing up to 25-lbs. Would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
