Commercial Collections Specialist (Contract - 2-3 Months)
Location:
Fishers, IN (Fully Onsite)
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-FridayWe are partnering with a client in the distribution and service industry to identify a Commercial Collections Specialist for a short-term engagement (2-3 months). This role will support the accounting team with high-volume B2B collections and help drive timely cash flow during a busy period.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of commercial (B2B) accounts and follow up on past-due invoicesContact customers via phone and email to resolve outstanding balances in a professional, customer-focused mannerResearch and reconcile discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cashCollaborate with internal teams (billing, sales, customer service) to resolve account issuesMaintain detailed and accurate collection notes and account status updatesAssist with aging reports and identify high-risk accounts
