The position collaborates closely with the Sales and Operations teams. Essential job functions Manage a portfolio of accounts receivable by monitoring risks, trends, credit held orders, assigning prudent credit lines and communication with regional reps and internal sales management. Review new dealer credit applications and assigns appropriate credit lines. Research and resolve customer debit memos, and short ships, etc. Place customer collection calls daily in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain assigned customer master files and data. Prioritize tasks with fluctuation of account needs. Backup for credit card processing and research. Work with Finance leadership on various projects and other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements Education and Experience BA in Accounting, Finance or similar field with 3 - 5 years of experience required At least two years of experience in credit and collections required. Experience with ERP systems (JDE preferred). Experience in manufacturing environment. General accounting professional level, including journal entries and reporting responsibilities. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Must have knowledge of standard cost systems. Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Other Important Requirements Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team. Detailed oriented and analytical. Must be flexible to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships. High level of business acumen. Ability to manage confidential information.
