While experience is preferred, we can also teach the negotiating skills and process to the right entry-level candidate. We are seeking a motivated applicant with speaking and listening skills and the willingness to learn. This position is on site. Pay rates are contingent upon level of experience. Responsibilities Follow scripts to answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to collect on past due bills Actively listen to consumers to determine if the debt can be collected with emphasis on negotiating to reach an agreement or settlement Must be able to update multiple computer systems with details of call interactions and abide by specific scripts for customer interaction Follow various client requirements and adapt when updates to processes occur Handle confidential client information in a professional and trustworthy manner Collaborate with other team members to facilitate account resolution Work full-time, on-site during regular business hours Requirements Excellent verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to handle a large caseload Professionalism Able to perform in high pressure situations Ability to attend to details Education High School Diploma/Equivalency required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. Other Background check and drug test required by clients after an offer has been accepted
