In this role, you will monitor accounts to identify outstanding payments and communicate with clients regarding the collection of those funds. The ideal candidate has excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with limited supervision. Responsibilities Review accounts to discover overdue payments Research client information and historical data on accounts Communicate with clients regarding overdue accounts Collect payments Maintain accurate documentation of account status and collection efforts The willingness and ability to provide seconds if needed Qualifications Previous experience as a Collection Specialist or in a similar position Understanding of collection techniques Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations Familiarity with computer databases Ability to work well under pressure Excellent communication and negotiation skills
