What You'll Do In this role, you'll help ensure the financial health of the organization while supporting patients with empathy and professionalism: Manage and monitor patient account balances and follow established collection procedures Post payments and review insurance claims for accuracy and completeness Investigate and resolve billing issues, denials, and patient concerns Communicate with patients and insurance companies to answer questions and provide guidance Set up and maintain payment plans that align with patient needs Prepare accounts for collection agencies and coordinate as needed Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), identify issues, and resubmit claims to maximize reimbursement Maintain accurate records and uphold strict confidentiality standards What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent At least 6 months of related experience (medical/dental billing or A/R preferred) Strong computer and data entry skills Knowledge of billing processes, medical terminology, and insurance practices Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse populations Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities Working Environment 100% office-based role Minimal exposure to health risks Standard office equipment and systems

$18.35 to $25.00 per Hour Depending on Experience
