Although we prefer collection experience, we will train the ideal team member. This is a great opportunity to work in a positive team environment. You will learn skills to resolve delinquent consumer loans and accounts to assist the credit union in preventing losses and maximizing recovery. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn a wide range of fair debt collection practices. The person who will be successful and thrive in this environment will be trustworthy, responsible, cooperative and competent. There is opportunity to grow and earn promotion!

401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Paid training Vision insurance Collection Agent skills you will possess or are able to learn: Ability to place and receive a high volume of phone calls; placing and receiving calls to members to resolve delinquent accounts while meeting the expected performance standard; Ability to use a spreadsheet and word processing software; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Consistently display excellent judgment and sound thought processing ability; Accurately maintain member files to include posting payments to member's accounts; Determine and recommend civil action and/or repossession to management; Process the repossession of collateral from collection of property to auction; Handle personal bankruptcy filings; Resolve negative balance on accounts with the goal to maintain memberships; Work involves extensive telephone interaction with members to converse about personal finances and/or sensitive matters. Work may involve motivating or influencing others.
