Compensation:

$60/hr - $75/hr

Overview:

We are working with a Software client in the South Orange County area. They are seeking a highly skilled Interim AR & Collections Manager to join their team to assist with process improvement and work directly with customers to help reduce AR. This position is paid on an hourly basis on a W2. Their ideal candidate must have progressive Accounts Receivable and B2B Collections experience.

Responsibilities:

Own day-to-day collections activity across a varied B2B customer base. Take stock of existing collections workflows and pinpoint where efficiency, accountability, or cash flow are breaking down. Build out standardized collections procedures, escalation paths, and performance benchmarks. Segment and prioritize past-due receivables, with particular attention to large or high-risk accounts. Work across Sales, Customer Success, Billing, and Finance to clear up disputes and unblock stalled payments. Study payment behavior trends and propose tactics to shorten DSO and lift collection results. Stand up dashboards and KPIs that give leadership real-time visibility into collections activity and AR aging.

Qualifications:

7+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable and B2B collections experience, including leadership or manager-level responsibilities. Demonstrated success improving collections performance and reducing delinquent AR balances. Experience implementing or enhancing collections processes within a growing or multi-entity organization. Strong understanding of AR aging analysis, credit risk, dispute resolution, and cash application processes. Ability to ramp up quickly and adapt to dynamic work environments.
