In this role, you will play a vital part in managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely payment collections from a wide range of clients. This is a contract to hire position offering a hybrid work environment, with opportunities for remote work after initial training. Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of approximately 1,000 accounts, prioritizing collection efforts to meet daily and monthly targets. Review and resolve payment disputes, working with clients to address issues such as missing purchase orders or billing discrepancies. Utilize Microsoft Excel and SAP tools to track aging balances and maintain accurate records of collection activities. Communicate effectively with clients to address overdue balances and negotiate payment solutions. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve upstream errors and ensure smooth order processing. Provide regular updates on collection progress and escalate unresolved issues when necessary. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while managing sensitive financial information. Analyze and identify patterns in recurring disputes to recommend process improvements. Support the team in achieving overall productivity goals by handling multiple accounts per day. At least 3 years of experience in collections, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) environment. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel for managing and analyzing account data. Strong understanding of commercial and consumer collection processes. Experience resolving billing disputes and negotiating payment solutions with clients. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle a high volume of accounts. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with clients and internal teams. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Familiarity with credit and collections best practices, including compliance with financial regulations.
